Wandering around Venice and trying to get lost!

After our visit to Palazzo Ducale or Doge's Palace the rain had been blown away and parts of Piazza San Marco were under water. They erected trestles to enter the Basilica di San Marco and other walk ways. We then wandered around Venice for hours to see if we could find our hotel. The lovely parts of Venice that we discovered along the way were just amazing.
