Today was a big day for us and the weather was HOT! We made an early start and began with Universal Islands of Adventure and the lark was very quiet so we managed to get onto the rides without any waiting. We then took the Hogwarts express from Hogsmeade to London and had lunch in Diagon Alley @Leaky Cauldron and we got to try some butter beer, which was very sweet.
In Hogwarts
We were impressed with the rides in the Harry Potter parts of Universal and these are certainly the highlight of our visit. We then waited in the stay and scream area to wait for Halloween Horror Nights #HHN27 to commence. We grabbed some dinner while we waited. We then proceeded to enjoy 5 of the 9 haunted houses and be absolutely scared out of our minds. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.
